Traditional woollen Aran wools often have multiple plies (sometimes as many as six or eight strands) which creates a really round yarn making it extremely popular for its ability to produce fantastic stitch definition for cables, moss stitch and other textured pattern effects.
A prime choice for Men’s garments and accessories, Aran wool can create stylish and flattering knits. Amongst crochet lovers this weight of yarn is preferred for creating Afghans and throws with a Swedish Hygge vibe.
