Manos Silk Blend DK
Manos Silk Blend DK is a luxury soft blend of merino and silk. It is light, soft and silky to the touch and has a lovely drape when knitted. Hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, multi-tonal effect. No two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots. The Manos Cooperatives are a part of the World Fair Trade Organization and every hank of Manos yarn you purchase helps a woman in Uruguay support her family!

Knit up well. Made the Serena hat. Very comfy but does stretch so had to add shirring elastic into rib so holds on.

This Manos Del Uruguay silk blend yarn is beautiful, lustrous and soft. I purchased the colour Zenith and the colours are vibrant and stunning.

I ordered this yarn as I am knitting a pattern that requires two strands of yarn to be knit together, one DK and the other in an Aran weight to make a slightly less than chunky longline vest. Manos was my choice because I needed the DK to be in black and their yarn is lovely and soft and has 30% silk for added sheen.
