Wool and the Gang Wool

Pioneering fashion production that's made in a sustainable way, Wool and the Gang are bringing back knitting and crochet as a viable means of production for generations to come. With this in mind, their knitting and crochet wools are not just ethically responsible but fun, exciting and trendy to entice younger crafters onto the needle craft train.

We just love their modern take on yarn design from the squidgy-soft super chunkiness of Crazy Sexy Wool to the smooth, sleek drape of Shiny Happy Cotton they really do have something for everyone.

WATG strongly believe fashion should be #madeunique with love. No mass-produced clothing, just quality fashion produced in a sustainable way. This really shines through in their knitting and crochet pattern support for their yarns - minimalist style, simple classic stiches and versatile trans-seasonal pieces.

Wool and the Gang + #madeunique = Sustainable

Using only materials that are sourced with consideration so as to reduce impact on our environment, Wool and the Gang are our new obsession! Here's some of the ways they do this.

Wool is their favourite yarn (and ours too, isn’t that funny?) - it's natural, renewable and biodegradable.

WATG work with fashion factories to repurpose their fashion waste into new yarns to reduce landfill. Bille Jean is a fantastic example of this and a super cool yarn too!

They are always on the lookout for new innovative materials that help to reduce environmental impact. Tina Tape yarn is made with 100% Lyocell (that’s Tencel to you and me) from sustainable sourced eucalyptus leaves and is completely Vegan friendly. Winner!
