Have you checked the pattern revision on Debbie Bliss website:

Couldn't see it on there, but then couldn't see the Special Knits book on other sites I've checked.
Could try emailing them to ask.
Know you can't copy the pattern onto here, but if you can try detailing the problem ie. picking up, shaping etc.. sure someone on here will be able to help.
