Louisa Harding Amitola Grande is the big sister to Amitola, with the same vintage variegated colorways that you know and love. Just like it's little sister, this bulky weight yarn is spun from a gorgeous blend of wool and silk to create a soft and strong yarn that looks amazing knitted or crocheted up into both fitted and floaty garments or accessories.

This yarn is such a tactile pleasure to work with—soft and light, yet warm, and with a nice halo. It splits a little, but that wasn’t much of an issue. I would definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous wool. The colour striping of this shade is very striking.

The wool is a lovely colour my only problem was when casting on I'd get half way an the yarn would just pull apart, ended up casting on with both needles rather than the thumb method.
