Established in 2005 and now based in Uruguay and Peru, Malabrigo employ a cooperative of women, offering jobs to those with less opportunity that most. Each skein of Malabrigo yarn is lovingly dyed by hand in a breath-taking variety of colouways inspired by the vibrant nature and rich culture of South America. 

Malabrigo are committed to sustainable business practices and humane animal welfare. 100% of the merino wool used in their yarns is sourced from free-range, mulesing-free flocks in Uruguay.
