Manos del Uruguay Alegria, meaning "joy" in Spanish, is a stunning hand dyed sock yarn blend of super soft merino and durable nylon. Available in a vibrant range of variegated and semi solid hand painted colorways, Alegria is created by artisans of fairly traded women's cooperatives in Uruguay. Easy-care with a rich, cushy hand, Alegria is perfect for socks, lightweight sweaters, baby garments and accessories.

This wool feels lovely to work with I was just disappointed that the yarn was variegated and knits up with subtle stripes. Just not quite what I was expecting.

This is a beautiful yarn to knit with the colour saturation is fantastic and the choice of colours is superb. Waterlily is stunning and reminiscent of lilies on a pond I would highly recommend trying this yarn.
