Patons Wool Blend Aran is a traditional, all-purpose wool and acrylic blend that is both soft and hardwearing. Machine washable at 30°C for fuss free laundry. This versatile wool blend knitting yarn is suitable for making classic and comfortable Autumn and Winter garments or cosy blankets and throws.
- Weight: Worsted
- Needle size: US 7 (4.50mm)
- Care instructions: Cool machine wash 30degC
- Blend: 63% Wool, 37% Acrylic.
- Length: 202yds (185m) per 3.5oz (100g) ball
- Yarn tension: 19 Sts x 25 rows to 4in (10cm)

This is super wool which knits evenly and neatly. I purchased it to knit indoor slippers for my twin grandchildren to use when they visit. One knitted, three to go!! Pattern by bebeknits.

My wife has used this wool blend to knit jumpers for various family members and the recipients are delighted with the results. Nice and easy to knit with and feels great to the touch. She will order the same blend in a different colour for her next project because she knows how good it is, and that is surely the highest recommendation.

I was looking for three different colours and after finding and ordering two of them, was having difficulty finding the third. When I eventually came across Laughing Hens I saw I could have got all three colours from them and saved P&P as a result. When it arrived, swiftly, it was beautifully wrapped in tissue paper inside the more robust outer wrapper.
