Rowan Alpaca Classic is a soft, light blend of alpaca and cotton with a delicate halo in a sport/DK weight that is perfect for trans-seasonal projects for autumn through to the end of spring. Available in a wide variety of colors in the classic Rowan style rich jewel shades, Alpaca Classic is made up of a smooth cotton knitted mesh tube which is filled with superfine alpaca fiber.

I needed extra wool to finish the front of a cardigan and I thought I might have to unpick some of the back to finish the front and then use the extra ball I sent for to complete the back. However the dye matched completely so I was able to finish the front and it does not show any difference!! Very pleased.

Love rich colours and softness. I would say this yarn is more sport weight than DK
