Rowan Felted Tweed. This well-known yarn is a true classic and an essential for any knitter's stash! A wonderful, tweedy wool blend with a felted look that's spun from merino wool, alpaca and viscose. Its softness and strength, coupled with a rustic color palette, makes it an ideal yarn for Fairisle knits striping and other color work.

Beautiful, thin, tweedy wool. Knits easily and smoothly, and is both warm and light. I am making a long cardigan/jacket with it and the flecks of blue and black and white make the pale grey very lively.

This is a lovely colour in the famous Rowan felted Tweed DK range and will blend well with the other colours for knitting fairisle patterns. I might also think about buying more to make a single colour sweater.

Lovely colour of yarn which will blend/or contrast with other Rowan Felted Tweed colours, especially in Fair Isle patterns. Sometimes struggle to understand the names given to the colours; I need clear information on colour rather than/ or as well as someone's poetic description!
