This yarn is so soft and incredibly warm despite how fine it is, and it doesn't bite the skin like most wool. It's such a pleasure to work with, I am already on my 3rd project with it (a lace shawl) and look forward to trying many more colors over the coming years. Alhambra looked turquoise to me on the website but came looking rather like Gem, a darkish green color. Still beautiful, but keep that in mind. I recommend googling images of the yarn you decide to buy, as that will give you a better idea of the possible variations in color from different photos.

Lovely yarn. Surprisingly easy to work with and strong, despite being very fine gauge in places. Only 2 knots in 4 balls of the yarn.

Easy to knit this wool. I used wool as a double strand and also on a double strand using linen as the other strand for the same project. Both gave an interesting texture with a pleasant feel on touching the knitted product. I love both.

this is a nice wool to knit with. I've used it on previous projects and keep ordering more, its good for knitting lacey scarves as gifts. Its worth paying that little bit more for a Rowan yarn and this Heavenly colour is lovely.

beautiful yarn, no knots in the balls. Good length per ball - can knit a scarf out of a single ball. looks really good in lace open patterns
